November’s walk will be from Riddlesden to Silsden.

The walk is around 8 miles, with a shorter one of around 5 miles.

Could you let me know if you are likely to do the shorter walk.

Meal:   4 Choices and 3 Vegetarian Options:

·       STEAK, MUSHROOM & ALE PIE rich bone marrow gravy, seasonal vegetables & hand-cut chips.

·       BATTERED FISH & CHIPS with mushy peas & chargrilled lemon.

·       ROASTED SI LVERSIDE OF 28 DAY AGED BEEF with roast potatoes, creamy mash, carrots, seasonal greens, cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire pudding & rich bone marrow gravy.

·       LOCAL SAUSAGES & MASH a trio of local butchers sausages with creamy mashed potato, caramelised onions & rich gravy.

Veggy:

·       SPICED BEAN BURGER with sweetcorn & mango salsa.

Our burgers are served in a vegan brioche bun with dill pickle, shredded lettuce & sliced tomato, accompanied by fries & side salad Pasta.

We have been in discussions with the West Yorkshire branch of the Civil Service Sports Council (CSSC) to see if there is a benefit to offer

Items of their program to us and visa versa.

I have the details below.

1)       East Coast Walking trip to Staithes on Friday, 9 August,

with a coach pick-up point at Forster Square Rail Station, Bradford.
(Taxi Rank on the Station Approach within the Retail Park!).

Coach departs Forster Sq @ 08.30.
Two walks are planned a 12 mile linear walk from Staithes to Whitby, plus a shorter 8 mile Whitby to Sandsend.
Return for both walks from Whitby Coach Park YO21 1TH @ 17.0 Est return to Bradford 20.00

2)       The walking trip to Ullswater is on 3/4 November at the Ullswater Inn. (Own transport is required)
Again this features two seperate walks a 10 mile and a 6 mile option,

both start from the Ullswater Inn CA11 0PB @ 11am, Parking is limited at this location.
